woooohooooooooooo it is OFFICIAL NOW!! we are booked on our 2nd cruise with carnival. doing the western caribbean cruise 7 wholeeeeeee days. can not wait! but it is a year away, well now just under. each day brings us closer.. and this time we have extras going with us lol. our friends want to go on one too.. so we have 3 from vermont and 3 from Mass going.. think the best shot is flying out of Boston to Miami, going in the day before because we want noooo delays where we can miss the ship.. i won't book thru the cruise line for my flight as i've read too many stories from other cruisers on the tight connections and they can't control what the airlines do. so if the airline has problems, delay the flight what ever reason, i'm not taking a chance standing at the pier seeing my ship sail away lol. so we'll go in the night before and get a hotel for the night..

 

well, havent been on this for awhile.. just went away for a week to see my best bud.. most ppl replied and texted or called which was cool.. come back to being shortstaffed at work.. so will be working lots of hours while we're looking for new hires and then training them.. ughhh.. lol dangit, gt a customer got to go..

as the story goes, enjoy each day the best you can as we don't know what tomorrow will bring.. basically we don't know how long we'll live, how we'll live, etc. life is short. sometimes too damn short. thats why yes, sometimes i don't do anything but hang out at home.. but then i try to get weekends away, or do vacations. sometimes i've been asked or told about how can i afford it.. but i take a year to pay for a vacation. i take any christmas or birthday money and what may not go for something at that time or bills goes towards my time away.. its my gift to use for that instead of bills that i sometimes do. i'm still here. enjoy it while i can the best way i can. i guess i'm just worried and sad today as i heard that a very good friend of mine looks like cancer. my mom died from the same cancer. and im just sad. i'm hoping that i will get to see her soon. i know medicine has wonders nowadays. but sometimes thats not enough. but all we can do is pray. make the best of it.. do some joking around to make someone smile. ok, just ramblin on. guess i should get back to work. hour and a half to go.

and i'm working a double again.. but i'm getting the day off tomorrow instead of my double then.. well, we'll see how that goes because if barbara's back is still out, then amie would work her shift which means i will have to come in for b shift... amie didnt want to work tonight, she's beat.. so i said i would... ohhh well... lol

lmao.. well, amie wasnt feeling good, Pam is out of town and then barbara called in sick. ughhh so yep, that meant jackie has to come in to work.. should of went out of town then i wouldnt have gotten stuck working lol.. but noooo, had to be home.. ohh well.. so its a sat night and im at work.. hmm like it used to be lmao. i need to plan a weekend off... figure out what to do, where to go. something ... road trip? lol.. probably not.. but who knows..

why do i have to have such a *itch for a daughter sometimes? grrrrrrrrr.. give that kids mellow out drugs! well, see if my grandson is still at my house when i get home from work, or if she's being even more a *itch and took him home early. *takes a deeeeeep breath* ughhhhhhh

just sitting here waiting to get off work. 1 1/2 hrs to go yeahh lol. then work tomorrow, get off work, go to workout and home then bbq yummy.. lol. still got to sit down and get them pictures online lol. got to add to the cruise photos lol. ok, thats it for now

well its monday, my double.. ughh lol.. its like i want some time off at least 1 day a week, but then i don't because i need the money.. lol i'm just screwed either way.. hmmm, should add on to my place and get more roommates lmao.. of course if shanna payed at least part of her bills that i pay that would be nice and helpful. ok, i need time off again already lmfao.. going to kims.. taking chasin with me.. and of course the DVD player to keep him occupied while doing the long drive. of course tho nowadays, ill stop midway and rest up and stretch out lol. 20+ hours ughh.. gee, what happen to the days that i could drive that without much problem.. dang this getting old.... hope you all had a good 4th weekend...

ok, working on the pics from the cruise. didnt do a whole lot which im surprised at myself lol.. and even cheryl who is a big picture nut was the same, she has 5 rolls of film to develope and we'll get those online and once i sit down and get mine online lol. my pc is so dang slow, afraid to try it lmao. anyways, its a work in progress :)

well, that was a fast 5 days lol. but we had a good time, didnt get seasick and actually had myself a few drinks over the course of the cruise lol. cheryl said it's the most i've drank in awhile lol.. but never did get trashed.. walked alot, had great weather wed and thurs in the ports, so that was very nice. ok, got to go eat, im hungry.. lol

ok, last week we changed the cruise to this June on the 15 for a 5 day out of NY to Canada, st.johns new brunswick and halix nova scotia. figured it out, will take the train into ny city to penn station and take a taxi from there to the port, only a couple miles, so wont be toooo bad on the fare lol.. maybe 20 bucks. but considering, gas, tolls, aggravation for driving in the city, and then 30 bucks a day to park at the port.. muchhhh better to take the train lol.. this will be fun!
